RUFADAA, Bitcoin & Fiduciaries: Finding the True Meaning of "Digital Assets" in Estates & Trusts

As digital assets and cryptocurrency become more common, the issues a fiduciary need to address proliferate as well. Issues obtaining access to digital asset information via the Revised Uniform Access to Digital Assets Act (RUFADAA) are well known, but other matters remain unaddressed. Learn about crucial fiduciary issues relating to digital assets and cryptocurrency, including access; finding and taking control; valuation; taxation; planning; and how trustees should hold them; and how to plan for them. You will also gain a better understanding of how fundamental trustee duties are implicated and how a trustee may want to address their duties while also dealing with these new, complex, and ever-changing assets.
