This course introduces the factors to be considered when a client is involved in leasing their land for a renewable energy project such as a solar or wind farm. Topics covered include an overview of the different types of renewable projects; what makes a good site for a renewables project; the elements of a renewables land lease; what can, and what cannot, be negotiated; and how to identify the types of developers who might be involved. The course wraps up with answers to common questions you might have as you get involved in the process.
