Robert K. Kelly A. Cahill is a Partner at Zukowski, Rogers, Flood & McArdle in Crystal Lake, where she concentrates in municipal and employment law. She serves as municipal attorney for the Villages of Algonquin and Deer Park and as counsel for the planning and zoning boards of the Cities of Genoa and McHenry. She also works with private developers engaged in the municipal development process in cities and villages not represented by the firm. Stewart H. Diamond is a Partner at Ancel Glink, P.C., in Chicago, where he concentrates his practice in representation of local governmental bodies. He represents municipalities in all aspects of growth from 4,000 to 100,000 and has advised numerous communities on their transition to home rule. Diamond also represents a number of water agencies during their multimillion-dollar construction phase and during mature operations. He drafted one of the first contract and bylaws agreements for a comprehensive intergovernmental self-insurance pool in the United States and currently represents a large number of intergovernmental self-insurance pools. Diamond is the originating General Editor of the IICLE® municipal law and school law handbooks and has participated in numerous seminars on these subjects. He is the Editor of the ILLINOIS MUNICIPAL HANDBOOK, published by the Illinois Municipal League. Richard G. Flood is a Partner at Zukowski, Rogers, Flood & McArdle in Crystal Lake, where he and the firm concentrate their practice in the representation of municipalities. He has acted or continues to act as corporate counsel for the City of Woodstock and the Villages of Lake in the Hills, Johnsburg, Lakewood, Bull Valley, and Hebron. Thomas W. Good is a Partner at Gorski & Good, LLP, in Wheaton, where he concentrates in all aspects of municipal law. Mr. Good represents the Villages of Woodridge and Third Lake, the Wheaton Mosquito Abatement District, and the DuPage Water Commission. In that capacity, he serves as their principal legal advisor, representing their interests before the circuit, appellate, and Supreme courts of Illinois, negotiating and drafting virtually all of their agreements and contracts, and representing their interests in various bond issues. Katherine S. Janega of Highland Park is the former Village Attorney for the Village of Winnetka, from whom she received a commendation resolution recognizing her achievements upon retirement after serving the village for 21 years. Before retiring, Ms. Janega concentrated her practice in the areas of local government and land use law. She has been a member of the planning committee and faculty for IICLE®’s Local Government Law Institute (2013 – 2015) and of the faculty for IICLE®’s New Lawyer Institute (2014). She has also provided pro bono legal services to the Glencoe Historical Society relating to zoning relief and interaction and agreements with the village and local park district in conjunction with the reconstruction of a Frank Lloyd Wright structure and restoration of an adjacent park. Richard A. Redmond is a Partner with Holland & Knight LLP, in Chicago, where he represents clients in eminent domain, regulatory takings, land use, environmental, and other real estate-related litigation.
