Cassie C. Black is a Partner at Kriha Boucek, LLC, in Oakbrook Terrace, where she focuses her practice in special education and student issues. Black has 17 years of experience in education as a school psychologist, assistant principal, director of student services, and assistant superintendent of curriculum and instruction. She has also worked with students and families from early childhood through high school. Black received her B.A. in psychology from Augustana College, her M.A in educational leadership from Roosevelt University, her Ed.S. in school psychology from the University of Northern Colorado, and her J.D. magna cum laude from Loyola University School of Law.
Elizabeth Kelly is a Partner at Kriha Boucek, LLC, in Oakbrook Terrace, where she focuses her practice in education law and labor and employment law. Kelly uses her own experiences from growing up immersed in education as the daughter of a Superintendent and public educator to provide clients with pragmatic advice to help solve their problems. She works on a wide variety of school law matters, including finance and business transactions, labor and personnel disputes, board governance, student discipline, and special education matters. Kelly received her J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law at Champaign–Urbana and her B.A. in political science and legal studies from the University of Illinois at Springfield.
