Beginning with a definition of personal injury law and the types of cases that fall within it, the presenters then provide an overview of  how typical cases flow. The course also addresses the tension between  the work of client representation and the unpredictability of obtaining income from that work.  Also covered are the routes to achieving a settlement before trial becomes necessary.
