Caselaw Update Employment Law 2021

In this pre-program bonus session, moderators Kathryn and Rob will give a preview of what will be discussed during the April 22nd Employment Law Institute with a special emphasis on Covid-19 employment litigation. The conversation will include a vaccine status update, employees returning to the office and the various expected challenges employers will face.

The COVID-19 vaccine is becoming more widely available. Many employers are considering whether they can or should require employees to be vaccinated. This presentation will explore the legal and practical considerations for employers who are thinking about whether to require employees to obtain the COVID-19 vaccine and/or for those employers who want to know their options. This presentation will also touch on considerations for employers as employees are vaccinated and transition back to the workplace.

Three experienced employment law attorneys will discuss their viewpoints on and techniques for valuing damages and increasing leverage in an employment case from the agency, executive counsel and individual plaintiff perspectives.
