Authorship Opportunity with the Institute

As IICLE embarks on an update to its handbook CHANCERY AND SPECIAL REMEDIES, we would like to announce an authorship opportunity for an experienced professional to update Chapter 7, Actions in Accounting. Because the Insitute holds copyright to the material, the selected volunteer author would have the option to work from the previous version of the chapter or would be welcome to submit a brand-new manuscript on this topic.

The commitment includes a thorough review of the chapter, including updates to caselaw and relevant statutes, and removing any outdated material, as needed. The IICLE Publications Staff will edit and conform the manuscript to our publishing house style, and the author will have an opportunity to review the edited material before publication.

Volunteer authors enjoy many benefits, including prestige and an opportunity to earn CLE credit for their efforts (see MCLE Board website, scholarly authorship has historically been self-reported as non-traditional credit with authors eligible for up to one-half of their individual requirement). If you are interested and would like more information on how to participate in this project, please send an e-mail here.
