Voorn is a Partner with Voorn, Jaworski, & Preston, PLLC, with offices in Chicago and New Lenox. She devotes her legal practice to elder law and is board certified as a Certified Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation.
Voorn is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Will County Bar Association. She also serves on the Board of Directors for NAELA, CASA of River Valley, and the Silver Cross Foundation and is accredited by the Veterans Administration. In addition to writing for IICLE®’s ADVISING ELDERLY CLIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES and SPECIAL NEEDS TRUSTS, she has spoken locally and nationally on elder law issues.
Voorn earned her bachelor’s degree from Florida State University,magna cum laude, and earned her JD at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law (formerly The John Marshall Law School), where she also graduated magna cum laude. In law school, she was on the Law Review and externed for the Honorable Charles R. Norgle of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She also has been published in The Forum on Public Policy: A Journal of the Oxford Round Table.
