Using a 2024 study by the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism, this program examines the issue of bullying in the Illinois legal profession. The program begins by defining what bullying is, and how it can be differentiated from incivility and harassment. It then examines the how and what of bullying, those groups most likely to be the targets of bullying, and the impact this can have on the profession. The program concludes by presenting recommendations from the study that could be applied to ameliorate the problem.
