Electronic Documents and Remote Signings

The Electronic Wills and Remote Witnesses Act (the “Wills Act”) was signed into law on July 26, 2021. Illinois law now permits both remote witnessing of Wills and electronic Wills. Learn what this means for your clients and discuss best practices and procedures to apply the Wills Act.
