Total Hours
You must complete 30 total hours of MCLE credit in your two-year reporting period.
PR Hours
Your 30 hours must include 6 hours of professional responsibility credit.
Required PR Categories
At least 1 hour must be diversity/inclusion and at least 1 hour must be mental health/substance abuse.

How Do I Comply?
Standard A–M Reporting
If your last name begins with A–M, your 2024–2026 Illinois MCLE reporting period ends soon. Complete all required credits, confirm your transcript is accurate, and certify compliance through the MCLE Board portal by June 30, 2026.
How to Report
Follow these steps to confirm your Illinois MCLE transcript is complete and submit your compliance report before the June 30 deadline.
Log In to the MCLE Portal
Access the MCLE Board Attorney Portal using your ARDC number and password.
Check Your Transcript
Open “My MCLE” and confirm your transcript reflects all earned credits.
Resolve Discrepancies
Manually enter out-of-state or nontraditional credits that do not appear automatically.
Report Compliance
Once your transcript is complete, follow the MCLE Board prompts to certify compliance.
Call IICLE at 217-787-2080 to resolve transcript discrepancies related to IICLE programs.
Consequences for Missing the Deadline
If your transcript does not reflect compliance and you do not report by June 30, 2026, you may need to seek a grace-period extension and may become subject to additional deadlines and fees.
