30 Total Hours
You must complete 30 total hours of MCLE credit in your two‑year reporting period.
Includes 6 PR Hours
Your 30 hours must include 6 hours of professional responsibility (PR), with at least 1 hour in diversity/inclusion and 1 hour in mental health/substance abuse.
On‑Demand Credits Count
Online on‑demand CLE programs are fully eligible toward your 30-hour total.

Requirements vary depending on whether you requested the grace-period extension by July 31, 2025.
Grace-Period Extension Requested
If you requested the extension by July 31 and paid the $100 fee, complete your CLE credits by October 31 and ensure your transcript shows compliance. No additional late fee is required if you report by November 30, 2025.
No Extension Requested
If you did not request or pay for the extension, you will be charged a $250 late fee, due by November 30, 2025. Your transcript must reflect full compliance with credits completed by October 31.
How to Report & Pay
Follow these steps to ensure your Illinois MCLE transcript is complete and submit payment to the MCLE Board before the November 30 deadline.
Log In to the MCLE Portal
Access the MCLE Board Attorney Portal using your ARDC number and password.
Check Your Transcript
Open “My MCLE” and confirm your transcript reflects all earned credits.
Resolve Discrepancies
Manually enter out-of-state or nontraditional credits that don’t appear automatically.
Call us at 217-787-2080 to resolve any transcript discrepancies related to IICLE programs.
Pay the Late Fee
Once your transcript is compliant, follow prompts to pay your late feeto the MCLE Board.
Consequences for Missing a Deadline
If your transcript doesn’t reflect compliance by October 31, 2025, and you haven’t reported/paid by November 30, 2025, you will be referred to Master Roll of Attorneys.
