Catherine Krenz Doan is a Partner with Rubin Law Group, Ltd., in Chicago, where she concentrates her practice in the area of workers’ compensation law.

Doan is a Member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Workers’ Compensation Lawyers Association, the Chicago Bar Association, and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. In 2023, Doan was elected President of the Workers’ Compensation Lawyers Association. Doan has been selected by her Illinois peers as an Emerging Lawyer in Workers’ Compensation Law from 2016 – 2021 and as a Leading Lawyer from 2022 –present.

Since 2019, she has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America for Workers’ Compensation. She has authored various articles for the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education, the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, and the Illinois State Bar Association. She has also presented at seminars hosted by IICLE.

Doan graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with highest honors and received her law degree magna cum laude from IIT-Chicago Kent College of Law. She is a member of the Order of the Coif. While in law school, Doan was a notes and comments editor for the Chicago Kent Law Review.
