The Institute is pleased to announce its latest student ambassador: Alexandra Kachow of DePaul University. Kachow graduated from Loyola University with her bachelor’s degree in political science and psychology. After a few years, she returned to Loyola to earn her paralegal certificate.
Having gained some experience working in a few law firms, she found that the bulk of her projects were in the area of intellectual property specifically patents. She has since also developed an interest in real estate and business law.
Kachow serves as the Director of Events for the Multicultural Law Student Association at DePaul University. She is also a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee at DePaul, which focuses on promoting diversity throughout the law school. “I enjoy being part of a diverse group of students,” Kachow writes.
In addition to her student organization involvement, Kachow also is a member of the Chicago, American, and Assyrian-American Bar Associations. When not at school, she enjoys the outdoors, bike riding, playing with her dog Diamond, watching horror and mystery movies, and going to the gym.
