Jane Denes is a partner of Posegate & Denes, P.C. in Springfield, Illinois. She is a transactional attorney concentrating in estate planning, taxation, and business planning. Ms. Denes has extensive experience with closely-held businesses in choice of entity issues, operating as an S corporation, partnership, or limited liability company, and succession of ownership. Jane received her undergraduate degree from Smith College, a master’s degree in Economics from Northwestern University, and a J.D. and LL.M. in tax law from Washington University. She is licensed to practice in Illinois and Missouri and is a member of the American Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Missouri Bar Association, Sangamon County Bar Association, and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.
